Happy Sunday!
This is Deedee from Mrs. Wills Kindergarten with a quick FREE resource!
Handwriting is by far my LEAST favorite skill to teach. Students develop their fine motor skills at different times. In my classroom, I have some students who enter the class room already knowing a few letters. They might even know how to write that letter and they have been practicing writing the letter F for 3 WHOLE MONTHS. But... they start that letter F at the bottom of the page.
So, we need to reteach this letter and build muscle memory so they automatically write that letter with the correct path of motion.
It is nice to have a resource to share with your parents so they can reinforce this skill at home. I hope you find this resource useful!

Thank you for this resource! I can't wait to share this with my parents. I think this will help them as they help their students complete their homework each night!
ReplyDeleteThank you. Lots of kids writing from bottom up, and going the opposite way around the circles. I am going to emphasize handwriting at the beginning of the year, and this resource will surely help.
ReplyDeleteOh my, just what I need!! Thank you! My son is a bottom up, weird strokes all over the place kid. It drives me nuts, haha! Thank you again.
