Hi Everyone! It's Michelle from Fabulous in First. I'm pretty darn excited about next week for a million different reasons. We'll be celebrating our 50th day, doing one of my favorite shared reading units and I'll be teaching all about Super E!
Last year as I scoured the internet for new ways to teach CVCe I came across this video. I knew it was the perfect way to introduce this vowel pattern to my kiddos. I also wanted some other fun activities to go along with this lesson.
So I created this little unit:
My super students last year.
Sorting Super e and words from other words.
Doing a Super Search for the CVCe words.
This year, my sweet friend Holly Ehle of Mrs. Ehle's Kindergarten Connections inspired me to step up my game. She had a Superhero Day earlier in the year. You can read about it HERE. She went all out and I'm so excited to make this lesson even better this year.
So we bought these capes, just like Holly. You can grab yours HERE! They are only $7.65!
I also picked up these masks for my kids to color as morning work when they come in.
In celebration of all this super fun, I've created a little freebie for you below. You can download it by clicking on the image.
The girls of Blog Hoppin' would also like to give one lucky winner some of our SUPER units. You can enter by liking our Blog Hoppin' page on Facebook.
