Hands-On Journals

Hi!  It's Julie from Mrs. Lee's Kinderkids.  I'm not really ready to begin thinking about next year, but I kinda sorta can't help it.  I wanted to share something that I use for journals, but most importantly something that my kiddos love.  And, the best part is I have a sample for FREE for you to look at and try out.

Here's what the hands-on math journal looks like.  You can see the kids are using manipulatives to count out, find the number, complete an addition sentence, and show in the ten frame.  This journal includes numbers 1-20, but in the freebie you'll get numbers 6 and 7.

 And, here's what the letter journal looks like.  Students marshmallow painted the big Mm's and then completed the  next page.
